AntiqueScope ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
- Photos you submit for scanning — sent to our AI service for identification and not stored permanently.
- Collection data — items you add to your collection are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our servers if you sign in.
- Account information — if you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and name (where provided by Apple).
- Purchase information — processed by Apple. We do not see your payment details.
- Device token — used to send you market alerts if you enable notifications. You can disable these at any time in iOS Settings.
How We Use Your Information
- To identify antiques and generate valuation reports
- To store and sync your collection across devices (if signed in)
- To send market price alerts (if notifications are enabled)
- To restore your purchases
Third-Party Services
- OpenAI — AI image analysis. Images are processed per OpenAI's privacy policy.
- Supabase — authentication and collection sync for signed-in users.
- Cloudflare — image storage and push notification delivery.
- Apple StoreKit — subscription and purchase management.
Data Retention
Photos submitted for scanning are not stored beyond the duration needed to generate a result. Collection data is retained until you delete it or uninstall the app. If you sign out, your local collection data remains on your device.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@appvalent.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
AntiqueScope is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
