BellyBeat ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the BellyBeat app ("App").

1. Information We Collect

BellyBeat is designed to keep your data on your device. We collect the following:

• Information you provide: Your name, pregnancy week, and journal notes — stored locally on your device only.
• Audio recordings: Baby heartbeat recordings are saved locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers.
• Usage data: We use Google AdMob to show ads to non-subscribed users. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID and usage data to serve relevant ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalise the App experience
• To display advertisements via Google AdMob (non-subscribers only)
• To power AI chat responses via Nova (queries are processed by our AI provider and are not stored permanently)

3. Data Storage

All personal data (name, pregnancy week, journal notes, kick counts, recordings) is stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

4. Advertising

Non-subscribed users see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob uses the Android Advertising ID to personalise ads. You can reset or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings under Google → Ads.

5. Children's Privacy

BellyBeat is intended for adults (expectant parents). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

6. Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the App. For any questions about data processed by our AI provider, contact us at the email below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
